The next meeting of the council will take place on Monday 24th March 2025, 6:00 pm at Coughton C of E Primary School. This will be the Annual Meeting followed by the Annual Assembly at 6:45pm.

About Coughton
Coughton is a small heritage village located in Warwickshire and sits between Studley to the
North and Alcester to the South. It has a population of approximately 170 people (2021
census). The village is home to a range of farmlands and a mix of diversified beautiful
historical houses peppered with more recent contemporary homes. It is also home to a
thriving public house, The Throckmorton Arms, a local Church of England Primary School
and of course the ancestral home of the Throckmorton Family, Coughton Court.
There is much to celebrate about this historical village, not least its people, who take pride
in protecting its buildings; many of which date back as far as the 15 th century. The village is
rich in farming and agricultural land and boasts a thriving and growing woodland through
the work of the Heart of England Forestry.
Coughton residents are an active community who use their talents to bring life to the
village, for example working with Coughton Court to host an annual Community Fetes, a
community choir that supports local charities and groups and regular gatherings
commemorating national and local events.
